These squirrels were found dead, eaten, skinned, tanned, and sewn together to make a scarf sometime in early 2010. This garment was once well loved and worn often but it has not aged well in the past decade and now seems to continually shed crumbs, mostly likely as a result of being slowly eaten by bugs. It remains as a reminder and warning that going through an amateur taxidermy phase will inevitably lead to finding oneself surrounded by moldering dead animals in various states of decay, unable to truly reverse death or stop the passage of time. However if the specter of that possibility is not a sufficient deterrent, take heart, as it can certainly lead to some interesting experiences and accessories in the short term.
